I'm Flora, a yoga and mindfulness instructor, specializing in Vinyasa, Hatha, Post Natal, and Restorative Yoga. I have 260 hours of training and have taught many students in the UK, Spain, and Costa Rica. My teaching journey began in Costa Rica where I worked for a non-profit\ refuge for female domestic abuse survivors. This experience set the tone for my career as a teacher; to share the healing magic of yoga; to help my students build inner strength & outer strength, overcoming both emotional and physical barriers that stand in the way of their goals. I combine a strong physical practice of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga with meditation, breathwork, and aroma therapy to give you not only a yoga class but strengthening and healing experience.

My dedication to the practice of yoga grew out of my own struggles with mental health. My Yoga mat became my safe space where I could go and find the self-love and self-care I needed. This is what I aim to create for my students and what makes me unique as an instructor - I not only help my clients reach their physical goals but also help them let go of bottled-up emotional pain that holds them back from achieving what they deserve.

I take care and time to asses where each client is at the beginning of our training journey and create a class plan that is not overwhelming or pushing them straight into the deep end. I find the best results come from enjoying the class, and not feeling exhausted after session 1. I create a slow build-up through each lesson so my client gradually, but surely, gets to their physical goals while enjoying the process and most importantly grows a strong foundation of self belief.

A few things I am particularly proud of that I have accomplished in my sporting career our the Machu Picchu trek in Peru, choreographing and performing in the Mandala theatre company's fire dancing performance in the Grenoble festival in France, Cycling down Yungas Road (also known as 'death' road) in La Paz, Bolivia, teaching yoga in Spanish at the Company MUSADE (helping survivors of domestic abuse) in San Ramon, Costa Rica and rowing through the amazon rain forest in Bolivia.



English is my first language and I can speak basic Spanish.

For my private classes, I tend to conduct the session in the client's home, for their convenience. However, if the client does not have space or would rather have their class outside of the home I offer a studio space.

I offer my clients not only a yoga class but a space to explore & overcome emotional and subsequent physical barriers. Prior to our first session, I suggest a free consultation, in order for my student to ask any questions & get to know me and my teaching style. While also, discussing their level & goals. From this information, I create a completely bespoke class plan that is uniquely tailored to each individual. In each class I begin with a specific meditation and breathwork, centering around the client’s current mental state. We then go through a sequence of classical vinyasa and Hatha asana with lots of technical adjustments; the sequence becomes, little by little, more dynamic and advanced in each class, so my student can see their progression and ease into the poses week by week. At the end of my classes, I focus on mindful healing; guiding my client through a more in-depth meditation, along with aroma therapy, Savasana massage & sound bath. I like to keep an honest and open relationship with each client; I offer constant support, and encouragement for my client to tell me how they feel before and after class, what they want more of, etc. Overall, I offer each client an opportunity to build inner and outer strength & to create a strong foundation of self-belief, from the inside out.

Profile assessment - Every coach who applies to list on our site goes through assessment before approval. This assessment includes background checks and qualification evaluation.

Reviews - Our community is built on transparency, therefore reviews for both clients to coaches and coaches to clients enforces this.

Fraud prevention - Our site provides the capabilities to be able to communicate with coaches through our instant messaging system and pay for sessions securely. This reduces the possibility of fraud. This minimises the possibility of becoming a victim of fraud.

Details covered - We strive for coaches to provide as much information as possible about their sport or wellness activity to ensure the user knows what a session entail.

Our zero-tolerance policy

We cannot express how important your safety is to us therefore we have implemented a strict zero-tolerance policy. If any of the below rules are found to be broken, we will take immediate action by issuing warnings and banning accounts.

Abusive behaviour - Any abuse in either verbal and physical form between coaches and clients; this includes, bullying, racism and hate speech.

Authenticity - Misrepresentation will break the trust of our community. Make sure all the details and information you provide about yourself are truthful.

Breaking Commitments – If consistent behaviour is shown in not delivering a service that was promised.

Reliability - Coaches should ensure the facilities they provide reach industry standards.

Taking clients off the platform - If a coach is found to take business off our platform their account will be immediately suspended.

Unresponsiveness – If coaches fail to communicate with clients after three warnings they will be removed from the platform.

Haven’t felt that relaxed in such a long time. -Finished the session feeling like I was floating on a cloud. Having not done much yoga before I was a little apprehensive that I might find it too tough but Flora went at such a good pace and really ensured that I did all the moves correctly. She has an amazing energy and I can’t wait for my next session.
