I am a Freelance Yoga Instructor (Yoga by Anisha, I teach Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Therapy for Anxiety and Yin Yoga & Mindfulness Meditation. I am incredibly passionate about mental health awareness, inclusivity and accessiblity (given my lived experience of anxiety and recovery journey after contracting sepsis), which is reflected in my style of yoga teaching. I believe that Yoga is for ‘EveryBody’, after all, it is the practise of freedom and liberation - far beyond the physical poses! My family roots are Indian and I therefore enjoy sharing and learning the philosophical teachings of yoga with my students. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider. My teaching experience includes Corporate (AIG, Wellcome Trust, WeWork), Studio (GYMBOX, FRAME, Virgin Active, FLY LDN) and 1:1 Private clients. I also have experience hosting wellbeing seminars & team-building yoga sessions for corporate clients.

My classes are tailored to your individual requirements and desired goals. Techniques include yoga postures, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and relaxation exercises. I am also able to incorporate techniques from my specialism in Yoga Therapy for Anxiety to alleviate stress and aid relaxation. I am incredibly passionate about mental health awareness, inclusivity and accessibility (given my lived experience of anxiety and recovery journey after contracting sepsis), which is reflected in my style of teaching. I believe that Yoga is for ‘EveryBody’ - I greatly honour that each of our individual bodies are unique and diverse. I teach in respect of this, without a ‘one size fits all’ approach, providing options and variations. I inspire my students to approach their yoga practise with a sense of kindness and self-acceptance. I empower my students to make decisions during practise that feel good and right for them, encouraging them to go deeply within and intuitively listen to what they need in the moment - your body, your practise, your choice. My roots originate in India and therefore I enjoy sharing small, accessible nuggets of wisdom (philosophical teachings and history of yoga practises) with my students.

Profile assessment - Every coach who applies to list on our site goes through assessment before approval. This assessment includes background checks and qualification evaluation.

Reviews - Our community is built on transparency, therefore reviews for both clients to coaches and coaches to clients enforces this.

Fraud prevention - Our site provides the capabilities to be able to communicate with coaches through our instant messaging system and pay for sessions securely. This reduces the possibility of fraud. This minimises the possibility of becoming a victim of fraud.

Details covered - We strive for coaches to provide as much information as possible about their sport or wellness activity to ensure the user knows what a session entail.

Our zero-tolerance policy

We cannot express how important your safety is to us therefore we have implemented a strict zero-tolerance policy. If any of the below rules are found to be broken, we will take immediate action by issuing warnings and banning accounts.

Abusive behaviour - Any abuse in either verbal and physical form between coaches and clients; this includes, bullying, racism and hate speech.

Authenticity - Misrepresentation will break the trust of our community. Make sure all the details and information you provide about yourself are truthful.

Breaking Commitments – If consistent behaviour is shown in not delivering a service that was promised.

Reliability - Coaches should ensure the facilities they provide reach industry standards.

Taking clients off the platform - If a coach is found to take business off our platform their account will be immediately suspended.

Unresponsiveness – If coaches fail to communicate with clients after three warnings they will be removed from the platform.

I cannot recommend Anisha’s classes strongly enough, both her zoom and in-person sessions are phenomenal. Her style is clear, informative and fun. I love the way she explains the asanas, guides you into them, always advising of common posture mistakes whilst in them. Importantly she uses the Sanskrit names and explains the purpose of the asana or flow which makes the class really informative too. My favourite are her Yin classes!!

I had the pleasure of attending one of Anisha's yoga classes through a corporate team building session and it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences I've had at work. Since then I've attended a few other classes and each class has been delivered in such a beautiful way, I never thought I'd enjoy yoga so much! Anisha's warm, caring and nurturing personality is the pillar for a unique blend of yoga classes that allow you to push the envelope physically whilst remaining grounded and centred. She is extremely knowledge and conducts her classes in a very calm, encouraging and inclusive manner, ensuring all levels and abilities can benefit from her teachings. Okay. I'm the type that won't write a review unless I'm utterly impressed. I started my journey in Yoga with the lovely Anisha. I was always very skeptical about Yoga in general and I wasn't a believer of Yoga and meditation until due to work, my anxiety level put me in a position to try anything and everything and see what could help before I go for anti anxiety medications. I have to say not only me and my family have noticed so much improvement in me mentally and physically (since I started my sessions with her) but also I feel absolutely amazing and energised. Even for my first session, Anisha was very patient, professional and supporive. Her level of knowledge was absolutely outstanding and from just talking to her, I knew that I was in the right hands. Anisha is simply AMAZING!! My mom and I have private sessions with her at home over the past few months and her help and support have an incredible impact for both of us. She goes above and beyond to understand your needs and adjust each session accordingly. She has been focusing a lot on helping us deal with stress and anxiety through Hatha and breathing techniques resulting in a lot of healing. She is a true professional and everytime she finds different movements to keep building on mindfulness and strength. Her kindness and unique energy can really make your day.
