Sports and wellness psychology with Ozgur
"The good life is a process, not a state of being, a direction, not a destination"
I'm a sports enthusiast and a lover of behaviour science. The passion I had for sports and exercise since I was a child had never died and shaped my life decisions and who I am to this day. I could never have a sports career due to health conditions but the natural inclination I had toward sports environments led me to the decision to study sports psychology when I was 18. Now as a professional in clinical sport psychology, I am dedicated to helping those who share the same passion as me and are devoted to their career in sports.

In our first meeting, we'll discuss your background in sports, the current issues you are having whether related to your performance or your psychological well-being and your expectations from the therapy sessions. Based on the identified needs I will tailor my approach to meet your individual needs and we will collaborate on which areas to focus on and what goals to set for our future sessions. I will also make use of assessment tools such as the Athlete's Mental Aptitude Profile (AMAP) which will help us identify those needs and prioritize effectively. We will utilize various tools and approaches to equip you with the mental skills that help you cope with the social-organizational demands of the industry, the technical and physical demands of your sport and the unique stressors in your personal life. I will take a holistic approach to understanding your needs and aim to find a balance between your inner world and the outside world as well as your mind and your body.
