My Pilates journey began shortly after graduating from uni in 1999 with a BSc (Hons.) Sport and Exercise Science degree. Whilst in my first role as a Personal Trainer and Swim teacher in a highly reputable London health club, I discovered the joys of Pilates and its incredible benefits on the body and mind.
Over time, I became aware Pilates was helping me maintain a good physique as well as feeling stronger and more flexible. I've been practising for 18 years and am mindful of the Pilates principals in the other forms of exercise I do.
I’ve always had a passion for teaching and learning new skills. Following my time as a Personal Trainer, I retrained to become a Primary school teacher, teaching young children of all ages in London and Lisbon, Portugal. Patience, inclusiveness, connection, creativity… just a few of the attributes I developed during my time as a teacher.
Then, four years ago – after dedicating sixteen memorable and rewarding years to teaching – I felt the calling to study Pilates in much more depth. I saw it as a great opportunity to help people gain a better understanding of their own bodies and reach their goals, whether that be to have more movement and flexibility, strength, control or simply a bit of much-needed de-stressing and mindful relaxation!
I'm now a fully comprehensive Advanced Level 3 Mat and small equipment Pilates instructor. My diploma allows me to teach a range of abilities – beginner, intermediate and advanced level. I like to teach in a way that strengthens the entire body gracefully and with ease, in every direction.
I also have an Ofqual Level 3 Certificate in Designing Pre- and Post-natal Pilates programmes; an area of expertise that I continue to find hugely rewarding. These classes also incorporate relaxation techniques - something I found extremely beneficial when I became a new mum.
I am delighted to be able to bring Pilates to you as a wonderful way of life. The intention is to not just deliver a class or session but a rewarding experience, whatever your level. One with context and a clear focus on the technique and Pilates principles.

Our Pilates workouts target the deep core muscles of the abdomen, back and pelvic floor; thus promoting strength, suppleness and balanced muscle development. Movements are practiced with total attention therefore encouraging your body and mind to work in careful unison. Practiced frequently, Pilates provides you with many significant health benefits, including increased flexibility, strength and mobility. Aches and pains are eased and your mood is lifted.
We take safety seriously
This is an independent platform that facilitates the connection of sports coaches and clients through enabling coaches to create profiles. We vet, research and remove coaches and clients on a best endeavours basis when a breach of our policies has occurred. We are not liable for any issues that occur while using connections facilitated through our platform.

Profile assessment - Coaches who apply to list on our site are assessed before approval.
Reviews - Our community is built on transparency. Reviews for both clients to coaches and coaches to clients enforce this.
Fraud prevention - Our site provides the capabilities to be able to communicate with coaches through our instant messaging system, and to pay for sessions securely. This reduces the possibility of fraud, but we hold no liability for any actions of coaches or customers operating these systems.
Details covered - We strive for coaches to provide as much information as possible about their sport or wellness activity to ensure the user knows what a session entails.

Our zero-tolerance policy
We cannot express how important your safety is to us therefore we do our best to implement a strict zero-tolerance policy. If any of the below rules are found to be broken, we endeavour to take immediate action by issuing warnings and banning accounts.
Abusive behaviour - Any abuse in either verbal and physical form between coaches and clients; this includes, bullying, racism and hate speech.
Authenticity - Misrepresentation will break the trust of our community. Make sure all the details and information you provide about yourself are truthful.
Breaking Commitments – If consistent behaviour is shown in not delivering a service that was promised.
Reliability - Coaches should ensure the facilities they provide reach industry standards.
Taking clients off the platform - If a coach is found to take business off our platform their account will be immediately suspended.
Unresponsiveness – If coaches fail to communicate with clients after three warnings they will be removed from the platform.
