My name is Tyler and I am 17. I am the owner of Crank BMX Coaching. I am a college student studying BTEC in Sport Science. After college I will be attending University to learn more about sport to try and make me the best coach in the country. At 17, I am one of the youngest fully qualified British Cycling coaches in the country. I was coached by, and learned how to become a coach by the Team GB head coach who helped bring both gold and silver to Great Britain at the 2022 Olympics. Crank BMX Coaching is for all ages and any skill level. I can be teaching toddlers on balance bikes 1 hour, to adults in their 50's the next. Aswell as coaching on the weekends, I will be going into schools to teach cycling. I am very passionate about coaching and to becoming the best coach in the country.
As a BMX racer myself, this year I finished 1st place overall for the North of England.

About the session

My workshop has been designed to give riders an insight to BMX racing. With BMX racing being a high speed, high action sport, I am able to give riders an intro session into how to race BMX, as well as learning fun new skills.

Tyler is easy to talk to and is able to answer all of my questions. During our 1:1 coaching sessions he challenges me with different skills, knowing I can do it even before I do. He’s available whenever I need him, whether it’s for training or at a race. He’s helped me become a better rider/racer by sharing his experiences with me as well. Thank you coach Tyler.

Reviews - Our community is built on transparency. Reviews for both clients to coaches and coaches to clients enforce this.

Fraud prevention - Our site provides the capabilities to be able to communicate with coaches through our instant messaging system, and to pay for sessions securely. This reduces the possibility of fraud, but we hold no liability for any actions of coaches or customers operating these systems.

Details covered - We strive for coaches to provide as much information as possible about their sport or wellness activity to ensure the user knows what a session entails.

Our zero-tolerance policy

We cannot express how important your safety is to us therefore we do our best to implement a strict zero-tolerance policy. If any of the below rules are found to be broken, we endeavour to take immediate action by issuing warnings and banning accounts.

Abusive behaviour - Any abuse in either verbal and physical form between coaches and clients; this includes, bullying, racism and hate speech.

Authenticity - Misrepresentation will break the trust of our community. Make sure all the details and information you provide about yourself are truthful.

Breaking Commitments – If consistent behaviour is shown in not delivering a service that was promised.

Reliability - Coaches should ensure the facilities they provide reach industry standards.

Taking clients off the platform - If a coach is found to take business off our platform their account will be immediately suspended.

Unresponsiveness – If coaches fail to communicate with clients after three warnings they will be removed from the platform.
