How to get external reviews

27 May 2022

Want to add some reviews to your Somerton profile and rank higher on our website? Learn how to do it here.

As a sports coach, your main task is to provide excellent coaching services and show decent results. You may read many tips on how to improve your training sessions in our blog.

However, it is vital for your coaching career to attract new clients and prove your competence to them. In our blog “The importance of gettingreviews” we agreed that people today tend to trust online reviews from other customers more than ever. That’s why you need to have several 5-star reviews on your Sport Session profile. If you look at the profiles of Andrew Reay or Emma Levy, you may notice that they appear on the top of the coaches page. This is because they have many reviews on their pages, that help them to move higher on the list of coaches.

Customers’ reviews may help you to:

  • Rank higher on Sport Session platform
  • Strengthen your profile
  • Make new clients trust your services
  • Re-engage old contacts you may not have connected with for a while

Your clients can leave you a review straight from your profile. But the practice shows that they often forget about that. The good news is that you don’t have to wait and pray for someone to remember and leave you a review. You can get reviews from your past or existing clients onto your Sport Session profile from other platforms. Reach your clients via the most popular socials: Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp etc.

Step by step guide

To request a review from a client, first, you need to log in to your Sport Session account.

Then on a dashboard find a section “Request a review”. As you see, you can request a review from people on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or write to them via email or SMS.

Your options

Let’s take a look at each option separately.

If you choose Email, you can easily send your client an email with a feedback link and ask for a review. The client then can follow the link and leave you a 5-star review with a comment.

If you choose Twitter, you can post a tweet on your account asking your clients to leave a review for you via the link

On Facebook, you can also share the link to your Sport Session profile and a nice photo in your News Feed or story.

Send your request to clients directly via WhatsApp. It will take them only a few seconds to follow the link and drop a few lines.

LinkedIn also offers you to share your link in a separate post or a private message. If your clients are active LinkedIn users, don’t miss this chance.
